Nicola Zulu
MYP Coordinator

Hello,
about me:
I am originally from the UK and have lived much of my adult life in Africa and Asia and most recently, mainland Europe. Teaching is my second career and I entered into education initially as a volunteer. I expected to only be teaching for two years and it was during my second year of teaching, when my students graduated, that I realised the impact of having an education will make for each one of them, as they pursue their dreams and work to support their families. Since that time, I have been a life long learner and this has led me to be MYP Coordinator at Verdala International School in Malta. I also volunteer my expertise and support the Council for International Schools (CIS) as a Team Evaluator, Chair and report reviewer and also the Middle Schools Association (MSA) as an Accreditation Team Member, and I am an IB Examiner.
I am passionate about student wellbeing and implemented a Mindfulness programme that supports student wellness and builds resilience. I have experience with implementing change and through the development of curriculum, effective processes and technology systems provide reliable data to guide academic success.
